Join our Auckland hands-on workshop and learn the art of pickle making from scratch, with a focus on the benefits of pickles on gut health.
In this unique interactive workshop, we will introduce you to organic Umeboshi vinegar, farmed in the South Island. Umeboshi is known for its cleansing and health benefits to gut microorganisms.
You will learn the difference between short and long pickling processes, including their benefits to the different organs. We will then discuss and demonstrate preserving and sealing techniques to ensure the longevity of pickles.
By the end of the class, you will take home:
  • 4 x 250 gram jars of preserved pickles
  • Pickle recipes and booklet
