Join artist Alvin Alejo and learn the art of making a solderless bracelet in this live streaming class! The silver bracelet you'll be making in the class has a solid pre-cast heart made from molten sterling silver, a symbol of love and connection that you can cherish forever.
During this beginner's class, you will learn the basics of silversmithing as you craft a solderless bracelet. The wires to be used for the bracelet are annealed so they can be turned easily by hand on a wooden jig to form the scrolls. You will need to make six scrolls to make a gorgeous long bracelet made of sterling silver.
The core of the bracelet is a solid pre-cast heart made from molten sterling silver with rings attached to join the scrolls. There will also be a set of five small rings at one end for proper adjustment in wearing the bracelet to hook onto the clasp.
Roll scrolls with loving thoughts of someone special or do so while connecting with someone new. This is an elegant design and unique for all ages.

From a young age, I've always been passionate about hands-on work, leading me to develop a knack for numerous crafts. Not only have I honed my skills in furniture making and restoration, paddle crafting, polishing, woodturning and metal crafts, but I've also embraced the art of Tai Chi.
I take great pride in my personal studio—a shed that I built myself—where I love to immerse myself in creating diverse pieces.
I'm an active member of both the Redcliffe Pottery Club and the Northpine Trade and Foundry Club. These communities are wonderful platforms where I continuously learn new techniques while sharing my own expertise.
In the past, I ran a successful furniture making business. Currently, I'm delving into the world of jewellery making with equal zest.
