Join us for an inspiring and hands-on polymer clay earring workshop, where you’ll get to create and design your collection of earrings! This engaging session invites you to explore the vibrant world of polymer clay, a versatile medium perfect for crafting unique, wearable art.Whether you're a beginner eager to learn or an experienced crafter looking to refine your skills, your experienced instructor Vanessa will guide you through the entire process, from conditioning the clay to designing intricate patterns.You'll discover a variety of techniques to create stunning, one-of-a-kind earrings that reflect your personal style. By the end of the workshop, you'll walk away with not only your handmade earrings but also a newfound appreciation for the art of clay jewellery. Please get in touch for private in-person workshops ONLY, this is where I come to you with all materials provided at the venue of your choice (e.g. home, workplace, community hall). Great for birthday parties, team building, community groups or if you want to get a group of friends together for a fun and hands-on activity! We teach workshops for small groups of 6-10 people.

What you'll get
- A fun and relaxing 3.5-hour hands-on experience with all materials provided at the venue of your choice.
- 3-6 pairs of earrings to take home (more earrings can be made if you have time). Earring options include studs, dangly, and hoops. Brooches are also an option if you don't have your ears pierced.
- Learn all the basic techniques from conditioning clay, colour mixing, slab making, screen printing, and finishing techniques.
Knowledge required
Beginner friendly, no experience required. This workshop is suitable for adults or teens 15+.

Kia ora! I'm Vanessa. I'm a jewellery maker and educator with a degree in Fine Arts. I started making clay earrings in 2020 as a creative hobby and suddenly found myself obsessed with polymer clay. I started buying more clay tools and equipment and began working on my craft and learning the in's and out's of clay jewellery making. I've been running my small business Dewdrops for 5 years now making jewellery collections and teaching workshops. Since then I've collaborated with communities and organisations across Auckland to deliver educational, creative and hands-on jewellery workshops for all ages.
