Hello Shello!

I’m Rina Ward, founder of Nostalgem.

I create handmade jewellery from real New Zealand native shells and botanicals.

As a city girl who found her heart in the small town of Kerikeri, I quickly fell in love with the local beaches... and beachcombing!

Inspired by the treasures I found along the shore, I began transforming them into the 'precious gems' of my jewellery designs.

Now I’m thrilled to share this passion with you through workshops!

I'll show you how to turn your own coastal finds into meaningful keepsakes. The creative process I teach is uniquely my own. So this original design ensures your creations won’t look like the ordinary, run-of-the-mill shell jewellery you’ve seen before.

Nature can be one of our greatest silent storytellers, and crafting with organic treasures lets your story shine through every piece.
