I am a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT) and a proud Kiwi who shares their time between NZ and Australia. I have now been tangling for about 12 years and teaching for over 9 years. Despite loving art as a teen, after leaving school I did nothing creative (apart from cooking). In 2012 I decided to take an art course and during that time accidentally stumbled across Zentangle. I was instantly hooked! After learning from books and videos for a couple of years, I decided to travel to Rhode Island in the US to become a Certified Zentangle Teacher. I have been sharing my passion for Zentangle ever since, either in face to face classes, online lessons, private sessions or corporate workshops. I just love seeing the joy it brings people!Zentangle is an easy-to-learn, fun and relaxing way to create beautiful images by drawing repeated structured patterns. No artistic ability is required. If you can hold a pen and write your name you are half way there. There are no mistakes in Zentangle, so you can’t get it wrong. Zentangle increases focus and creativity as well as providing simple and quick access to mindfulness. I love both for the beauty of the artwork itself and the added benefits of relaxation, reducing anxiety, helping with insomnia, helping manage chronic pain,...... the list goes on!
