After several sold out workshops around NZ, this is the first one here in tranquil Titirangi this March 2025!
Learn the magical art of Kintsugi with artist Ema Frost in this new workshop.
Have you ever wanted to try Kintsugi? It's an ancient Japanese art form where you fix broken pottery with gold, making its imperfections its beauty. Nothing is ever really broken but new life and meaning are brought back, making your piece a work of art and truly something special.
This traditional Japanese art uses a precious metal – liquid gold, liquid silver or lacquer dusted with powdered gold – to bring together the pieces of a broken pottery item and at the same time enhance the breaks.
This class is not just for budding or accomplished artists. It is for everyone to enjoy a relaxing day of art and design with Ema.
By the end of the class, you will take away your wonderful finished work, plus your new skills which will enable you to further your own Kintsugi in your own time.
Cancellation policy: All workshops are non-refundable. We can offer you a workshop swap if we have at least 7 days' notice prior to the original workshop date, subject to availability.
